Aussie Aths has been announced as a nominee in the prestigious What’s On 4 Kids 2021 Awards, sponsored by The Australian Children’s Activities Association (ACAA).
This awards program is one of a kind in Australia and celebrates the best in children’s activities, classes, family events and party entertainers across Australia as nominated and voted for by the experts – parents!
Aussie Aths is a health and fitness program for Aussie kids aged 5 – 13 years based on athletics. It’s about learning to go faster, higher, further in a fun environment that Aussie kids of all abilities enjoy.
The program launched in Melbourne in mid-2018 and has grown rapidly since then, expanding to the Mornington Peninsula and Gold Coast via franchisees.
Aussie Aths has been nominated in two categories for the national awards –
- Aussie Aths is nominated in the category “Best New Kids Activity/Party Business (up to 3 years in business)”; and
- Aussie Aths Boroondara is a nominee in the category “Best Local Franchisee School Aged Activity/Class (5-12 years)”.
The 2021 What’s On 4 Kids Awards received over 130 nominations from all over Australia, and Aussie Aths Director of Coaching Nick Bowden said it was exciting to be a part of this industry bounce back and celebration .
“After all the interruptions of 2020, it’s great to be up and running again in 2021 and off to such a strong start with record numbers in Term 1. We continue to be encouraged by parents who say that this is exactly what they want in a junior athletics product.”

All nominations are judged by an independent panel with the ‘People’s Choice’ winners decided on community voting.
